Mr. Cowan is a Managing Director in the Ares Capital Solutions Group Additionally, Mr. Cowan serves on the Ares Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council. Prior to joining Ares in 2016, Mr. Cowan was a Director of Rates and Derivatives at Toyota Financial Services. Mr. Cowan holds a B.S., cum laude, from Duke University in Economics and Computer Science and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California. Mr. Cowan is a CFA® charterholder.
